In this blessed month of Ramadan, we are focusing on feeding the widows, the orphans, the homeless, and the needy of Afghanistan. You know that 5 year old boy you see on TV, who is working to earn a living for his mother and sisters? Or, that single mother who is begging on the streets to feed her hungry children?
Every corner of every street, you will find someone in need. We are focusing on giving to these individuals who are struggling to make their daily bread. We want every single home to not have to worry where they will get their food this month. We want that single mother to be able to focus on her worship this month instead of worrying where her children’s next meal will come from. That 5 year old “little man” who is out every day earning his family’s keep can at least not worry about food for one month.
